Thanks to the folks at Neosho United Methodist Church for giving us here at Mercury the chance to work on this fun vehicle graphics project on their new church van.
From working with the church staff to design to installation, this job was a joy. Projects like this remind me of why I like my job so much.
Did you know?... Signage is the least expensive, but most effective form of advertising for anyone trying to spread a message, from businesses to churches to political campaigns.
Vehicle graphics are among the most effective of all forms of signage because they are essentially unregulated mobile billboards. When is comes to "bang for your buck", it doesn't get much better than well-designed and executed vehicle signage.

The staff at Mercury in Neosho would like to thank the crack crew of volunteers who helped us get a rush job of yard signs out the door in record time - and it was all for a good cause. We would also like to thank the folks at K&S Wire who came through for us and pitched in on some wire sign frames that will help get the message out.
 What's all the Fuss?
What started out as a Memorial Weekend fundraising effort for a new Christian ministry in Carthage, Missouri, has become a just-in-time benefit concert supporting relief efforts for those affected by this week's tornado disaster in neighboring Joplin, Missouri.
Tonight, May 27th, 2011, at Memorial Hall in Carthage, Route 66 Ministries presents "An Evening with Christ". The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and will feature the musical talents of Brendan Hollis along with special guest speaker Shelley Norton Hollis.
No ticket is required.
So, if you are looking for a way to support our Joplin neighbors in their effort to recover from tragedy, or your just in need of some great entertainment, Carthage is the place to be tonight.

The crew here at Mercury just finished another batch of signs to send to Joplin to support the relief efforts in the wake of this week's tornado disaster.
Samaritan's Purse, together with Hillcrest Covenant Church in the Kansas City area, has set up a station where disaster affected individuals can get a clean, hot shower.
This free shower station is set up in the parking lot of Forest Park Baptist Church, on the corner of 7th St & Rangeline Rd in Joplin. Volunteers are manning the station to ensure that it stays clean and safe. It is our understanding that they will be in town as long as they are needed.
Thank you HCC and other volunteers from the area serving the people of Joplin with the invaluable gift of chance to get clean. And a special thanks to K&S Wire in Neosho for pitching in on the wire sign stakes that will help get the word out.

Greetings!
The folks at Mercury Print, Sign, & Ship Center thought we'd start the new year off with something new - a new Facebook Business Page.
We hope to keep things fresh with lots of good stuff like design pointers, small business marketing tips, and everyone's favorite - deals!
We are looking at this new Facebook Page as a grand experiment in both small business marketing as well as community outreach. We hope to share with as much as we gain from the relationships we build here.
We hope you Like it. (eh, em - hint, hint)
By the way, we've been working hard on freshening up our website as well. We've added a couple of new bells and whistles - with more to come. So, while you're in the neighborhood, stop by and let us know what you think (be honest now - we can take it).
Thanks,
Scott, Judy, & the Gang at Mercury |
